3D Printer Outreach

Cortechs Robotics went back to the First United Methodist Church on March 15th to spread more STEM education to the community. This time, instead of a robot, we brought our 3D printer granted to us by 3D Systems. We printed six pieces of a seven piece cube puzzle, and passed them around to the kids while the final piece printed and we talked about how the printer worked. The final puzzle printed, and several of the kids attempted the puzzle. Many got close, but none were able to finish, so one of our team members finished the puzzle. The kids enjoyed our presentation, and we plan to go back with our 2015 season bot and let them play with it.

Jon Kelley works to help make Cortechs able to move on the field and in the virtual world.
