January 2015 Newsletter

January has been an extremely busy month for the team. January 3rd marked the beginning of the of the robotics season. Since then, the team has been meeting 5 or 6 times a week after school, building a robot that will compete at Dorton Arena in March. As a result of the huge support from our community, not only will the team learn a ton, but also be hugely successful. New Corporate Sponsor

Cortechs Robotics has fortunately received a $5,000 grant from United Therapeutics Corporation. This sponsorship is a testament of our current achievements and all that we have done. Lessons Learned from Canvassing

Over the past couple weeks Cortechs has been pounding the pavement and bringing the opportunity of sponsorship to local businesses. Although tough at first, the team has really got in the groove of it, raising fantastic funds towards the next FRC season.
